Update log
Every change, on the record.
This is where each update to the city and the site gets posted: new systems, fixes, balance passes, and the small stuff too. No spin, just what changed and when.
We keep this honest and in order, newest first. If something in Palm6 Bay moved, broke, or got better, you will find it below. Bigger rollouts get announced in the Discord as well.
Whitelist goes live end to end and the site rebrands to Palm6
The full whitelist journey now works from start to finish, staff can review and decide on applications, and the site and community moved to the Palm6 name at palm6rp.com. Every verified member also gets a personal citizen dashboard.
- You apply for whitelist by signing in with Discord, so your application is tied to your real account and cannot be submitted under someone else's name.
- Staff can now review your application and approve or deny it, with the decision flowing straight back to Discord so your role updates automatically.
- Applications are cryptographically signed and protected against duplicates, so they cannot be forged or submitted twice.
- Any verified member now has a personal citizen dashboard on the site that pulls together their account details.
- The community moved to the Palm6 name with a new home at palm6rp.com.
- New members are greeted with a proper welcome screen and guided onboarding when they join the Discord.
- Staff and internal channels are locked down, and automatic moderation now filters spam and offensive language.
- The public pages got a launch-readiness pass so the gang directory and dashboards stay solid against real in-game data.
- This public update log went live so you can see everything we ship, in order.
Player dashboard, live city boards, and the whitelist review pipeline
Signing in with Discord unlocks a player dashboard and, for staff, a control panel. A wave of live city pages went up, including turf control, the DOJ court docket, and a bounty board, all reading real in-game data.
- Sign in with Discord to reach your player dashboard, with a separate staff panel for the team.
- Whitelist applications are securely forwarded to the review team the moment you submit, with signing that proves they are genuine.
- A live events page shows the server's scheduled Discord events so you always know what is coming up.
- A new connect and first-hour page walks you through getting in and finding your feet on day one.
- The DOJ court docket is live, showing citations on record and letting people file to clear their record.
- A turf control board shows which crews currently hold which parts of the city in real time.
- A public bounty board lists open state bounties alongside private contracts.
- Staff gained a read-only player lookup for quickly checking a player's details.
Horizon becomes Palm6 and the living city fills in
The whole site was rebranded from Horizon to Palm6 and packed with living, in-game-connected pages: a police blotter, a city economy pulse, gang portals, story and rules, and department deep dives. Fake placeholder numbers were removed so everything you see is real.
- The site and community were renamed from Horizon Roleplay to Palm6 across every page.
- Made-up player counts were removed, and the live server status now reflects the real server.
- A public police blotter shows active warrants and BOLOs pulled from the city.
- The home page now has a live City Pulse with real economy data and a server-status badge.
- Gang pages read live from the in-game database, with search, sorting, filtering, recruitment calls to action, and shareable link cards.
- Crews can verify their branding in game using a claim token, so only the real crew controls its page.
- New Story and 'Making a Living' pages explain the world and how to earn, alongside clearer rules and per-department deep dives.
- Live pages now fail gracefully instead of breaking, so the site stays up even if data is briefly unavailable.
- Store purchases are more reliable: payments are handled safely, duplicates are ignored, and roles are corrected when a payment is disputed.
Website design polish and the Discord front door
The homepage and store got major visual passes, plus branded link previews and accessibility work. The Discord gained a proper front door with self-assign roles, announcements, a server guide, and useful links.
- The homepage was redesigned with district tiles, cleaner job and rule cards, and a bolder look.
- The store page was reworked to feature the main bundle and drop dead placeholder filters.
- Links to the site now show a clean branded preview image when shared on Discord, Twitter, and elsewhere.
- A self-roles button panel lets you pick your own roles in Discord.
- New announcements, server guide, and links channels make it easier to find your way around, with a welcome for everyone who joins.
- Accessibility and interaction polish across the site, including clearer focus outlines and respect for reduced-motion settings.
The website comes online and the in-Discord store opens
The public website went up, with the homepage, city overview, and store pages. Alongside it, a guided store opened right inside Discord that walks you from category to product to checkout.
- The website launched with a full homepage, an 'Inside the City' overview, an FAQ, and a store page.
- A guided store lives right inside Discord, taking you from category to product to full details.
- Buyers receive their purchase information automatically by direct message.
- The bot and store were set up on reliable cloud hosting so purchases are delivered around the clock.
The store reaches its full lineup
The store grew to its complete set of packages, each with its own custom artwork, including a full range of law-and-order and business options.
- The store expanded to its full lineup of packages, including law-and-order and business options.
- Every store package got its own custom artwork.
- Each package was wired end to end so a purchase delivers the right perks automatically.
Palm6 begins: the store and community foundation
This is where the public record begins. The project kicked off with a purpose-built Discord bot that turns a store purchase into your perks automatically, no third-party bots involved, plus the first packages and store channels.
- A custom-built Discord bot connects the store to the community, so a completed purchase grants your perks automatically.
- Purchases are verified against the payment provider before anything is granted, so perks cannot be faked.
- The first set of store packages went live, wired end to end from checkout to delivery.
- The store's welcome, roadmap, and information channels were set up.
- This marks the beginning of Palm6's public changelog, so anything before this date is not listed here.
